Who's in the Outdoor Capital?
The company has its roots in the Mountain Access Group formed during the Foot & Mouth outbreak in 2001. The Outdoor Capital is made up of 15 unpaid directors, who represent a wide range of local businesses from retail, hospitality and outdoor activity providers.
Our team
In July 2005 two full-time members of staff started work - our Project Director and Project Co-ordinator. Their task is to increase visitor spend, and bed-nights and to increase business activity in the sector. This will be achieved by increasing
co-operation and partnership work and by marketing the area and its attractions, facilities and businesses.
