Try our indoor rock walls, up to 50 feet high or set choose your own Everest and aim for something a little lower. Complete beginner? No problem if you can climb a ladder you can learn to climb our walls.
Open Rock Sessions
Join a group (maximum of 6 people) as you learn how to rock climb under the direct supervision of an Ice Factor Instructor. These sessions are for adults or children
(mixed and family groups must be run as a private session). The Open Rock Climbing Sessions are suitable for individuals or couples, for 3 or more people we would recommend Private Rock. Open Rock sessions are run primarily in the afternoon at fixed times. Call us to check availability.
Daily Rock Climbing Classes
Join us on our state of the art indoor rock climbing walls. The walls feature a variety of grades and problems designed to appeal to climbers of all abilities and total beginners. For those days when the sun shines, we have a new 50ft outdoor rock tower with stunning views of the Mamore Mountains.
Classes are run mid morning, just after lunch, mid afternoon and late afternoon.
Price
£25 per junior and £30 per adult.
Prices include all entry, all equipment and instruction.
For very young children (aged 4-7) we run a special half hour taster class - £15 per child, where an instructor will teach the parent how to use our automatic belayers, thereafter the parent and child can climb as long as they want.
For groups who want a Private Session, you can hire your own instructor to work at your pace and at a time to suit you. Prices are £90 per hour for up to 4 people and £135 for 1.5hour for upto 6 people.
Rock Introduction Course
Two lessons designed to take a novice with little or no climbing experience to a level where they meet the membership requirements of indoor climbing walls. These sessions are designed to allow learning in a structured and controlled environment. Why not come and take your first steps into the huge and varied world of climbing with us. This course includes your first year’s annual registration fee (£10) and one free entry to the wall. The session is normally run over two seperate days instruction.

Introduction to Indoor Leading
Two lessons designed to take those who are already indoor climbers used to using
in-situ ropes at a wall and to let them take the next step by becoming indoor lead climbers. We will cover how and when to make the clip, skills for the belayer and taking and holding a lead fall.
