Experience
Lifelong hillwalker, progressed to scrambling, then rock-climbing and winter-climbing at age 28 and haven’t looked back. Destined never to be a great climber (too heavy) but relentlessly enthusiastic and have gained increasing satisfaction from helping to guide and nurture climbing skills in others. Early instruction experience with University of Central Lancashire (climbing club chairman) and Fairbridge Edinburgh led via Clachaig Inn (?!) to full-time position at Ice Factor. Currently trying to climb every starred VS in the UK!
