Learn to Rock Climb

Ice Factor has a range of routes, grades and challenges to suit both beginners and experienced climbers.

If you want to try rock climbing in Scotland then make sure Ice Factor is your first stop. With state of the art climbing walls and our highly experienced instructors, we’ll have you scaling the walls in no time…

Total Beginners:

Try our rock climbing taster sessions. These sessions take place on our training walls and are a great way to introduce yourself (and your friends and family!) to all the fun and adventure rock climbing has to offer.

Climbers with a bit of experience:

If you’re looking for tips and tricks on your technique or just a refresher on the basics of climbing, try our ‘Learn to Belay‘ course or book yourself and up to 5 other friends on to a private coaching session(more info below).

Experienced climbers:

The Ice Factor offers routes from 3+ to 8a with a main hydraulic wall that can be lowered to create a 6m overhang, ensuring constant variety and difficulty.
