“The British Mountaineering Council and The Mountaineering Council for Scotland recognise that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.”
By making a booking you certify that you can put on a climbing harness correctly, attach a rope to the harness in a suitable climbing knot, use a belay device to secure a falling climber and lower the climber from the ice wall. To climb on the ice wall uninstructed, you MUST regularly lead Grade 3 in Scotland or Waterfall Ice2.
You certify that to the best of your knowledge, do not suffer from a medical condition which might have the effect of making it more likely that you become involved in an accident which could result in injury to yourself or others. You understand that failure to exercise due care could result in injury or death or yourself or someone else.
