Nach dem Erfolg der Eröffnungspreisverleihung im vergangenen Jahr, the finalists for this year’s Scottish SME Business Awards have been announced after nominations surged in from across Scotland.

Hundreds of people are expected to gather at the lavish, black-tie awards ceremony which is due to take place on the 28th of March at Glasgow’s luxury Crowne Plaza hotel. The night will include a drinks reception, a four-course meal and entertainment as well as the awards ceremony itself which will feature accomplishments ranging from Retail Business of the Year to Young Achiever of the Year.

Jamie Smith, the mountaineer and entrepreneur who before acquiring Schnee Factor Braehead im 2011, also opened the world’s largest indoor ice-climbing facility at Ice Factor Kinlochleven, sagte: “In recent year, the Ice Factor Group has made considerable investment across our digital platforms. I believe this has been recognised by our ongoing results, including increased online bookings, improved engagement with customers and the gravitas of being nominated for the Business Growth of the Year Award at the Scottish SME Business Awards.

The awards not only provide a platform and an opportunity to recognise and reward the talented individuals and organisations from the country’s SME industry but also provide a source of inspiration for future entrepreneurs.

The awards are brought to you by Creative Oceanic, an events and marketing agency who are responsible for some of Scotland’s most successful and well known events such as The Scottish Wedding Awards and The Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards amongst others.
